The Big Bang!!!!!!

What is it?

Its the theory of everything! From the formation of first star to the birth of you. It is the greatest event ever, so great that it created you! It is the theory that the entire universe came from an infinitesimally small thing, the singularity. That one single point was the entire universe! It was around 13.7 billion years ago when the universe came into existence. This theory is an effort explaining the existence of universe.

The question that may arise is “what is singularity?

And the answer is it is a ‘theoretical’ point with zero surface area. It is a single point in space-time.

For example the singularity of a black-hole is a point into which everything that enters the black-holes’ event-horizon diminishes. It is a point with zero surface area and is infinitesimally dense. It has a such great gravitational pull that nothing ( not even light ) can escape it.

Now I think you’ve got an idea of what the “singularity’ is?

During this time of universe ( singularity ), the universe was an extremely dense and hot point with nothing else in existence. There is nothing outside the universe because there is nothing other than the universe ( although the multiverse is imagined to exist but it is not the part of this current topic ). All that existed was this point.

What happened before the big bang is a thing which doesn’t have any meaning as there was nothing before the big bang. That’s so because there is no time for something to exist before the big bang. The time was created along with the big bang and is continuing till now

Why it happened?

There was no time before big bang.  Time itself started with the big bang. So the natural conclusion is NOTHING caused Big Bang. So now we think it is natural that something can pop out of nothing?  Yes it happens all the time,  in particle physics its always observed.  Subatomic  particles pops out from nowhere sticks  around for a while and disappear, for no known reasons. If  you can expand this to a cosmic scale the Big bang is plausible.

Imagine the cosmos like this,  with its mind boggling proportions, bright stars,  vast Galaxies,  extraordinary Quasars ,  terrifying  Black holes and mysterious cosmic waves.

All these huge galaxies are embedded in the vastness of space,  like a sand grain in the ocean. In a distant future these specks of light shall die. It may be billions of years away,  but at one point of time,  death is inevitable.  Even the black holes shall radiate away itself to death. Now only the vastness of space remains.  “Nothing” exists!  And “Nothing ” exists permanently, eternally for all the time to come. “Nothing”  does not have death. Nothing can give birth to time and space,  and everything else.

What is its timeline?

It is theorized that the earliest time of the big bang ( about 10^-43 to 10^-11 ) was a subject of great speculations.
This Planck period of time extends from point 0 to approximately 10^-43 seconds, and is so named because it can only be measured in Planck time. Due to the extreme heat and density of matter, the state of the universe was highly unstable.

From approximately 10^-43 second and 10^-36, the universe began to cross transition temperatures. It is here that the fundamental forces that govern the Universe are believed to have began separating from each other. The first step in this was the force of gravitation separating from gauge forces, which account for strong and weak nuclear forces and electromagnetism.

Then, from 10^-36 to 10^-32 seconds after the Big Bang, the temperature of the universe was low enough (10^28 K) that the forces of electromagnetism (strong force) and weak nuclear forces (weak interaction) were able to separate as well, forming two distinct forces.

After this period inflation of universe happened. The universe expanded rapidly and cooled in this process, so much that the earliest star formed. With the passage of time universe gained it shaped and resulted in the formation of galaxies, stars and our solar system.

Is this theory true?

After reading all this theory the final question that arise is that if this theory true or not? It may seem a perfect theory but it does have some flaws or maybe it doesn’t but it’s our physics that has flaws. It all depends and is yet to be clarified. But it can be said that ” THE BIG BANG’ theory is the most widely accepted theory of universe but who knows what is yet to come. Maybe another theory of universe will change this whole concept. But no one can predict the future. It has been said that ‘the more you learn the more doubts arise.’
